Symptom Control in Patients with Renal Failure

This chapter aims to provide general prescribing advice for patients with renal failure, whether from chronic kidney disease as a result of non-malignant conditions, as a complication of malignancy, or acute renal failure at the end of life.

These patients can have an unpredictable disease trajectory and management of their symptoms may be complex.
